The Sand Land Project Is Underway!! Exciting News for Toriyama's Legendary Masterpiece!

The Sand Land Project is getting revved up! The teaser site and Twitter account for one of Toriyama's most well-known works are now available!

Sand Land is a passion project drawn by Toriyama that initially began from the simple concept of an old man and his tank, but it soon grew into something much more. It had a short run in Weekly Shonen Jump 2000 No. 23 until the Vol. 36/37 double issue in that same year.
The story takes place in a far-flung future where Earth has become a desert planet with a severe water shortage and follows the adventures of the Demon Prince Beelzebub, his demon attendant Thief, and the human sheriff Rao as they search for a long-lost lake!!
