World King
The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. This week, we have an audience with the World King, a canine political powerhouse in the world of Dragon Ball!
Story
As you might expect from the name, the World King is responsible for governing planet Earth in Dragon Ball.
He lives in King Castle, which is located in the very heart of Central City.
When Great Demon King Piccolo attacks said castle as a part of his bid for world conquest, the King attempts to escape in a Mini Plane but is quickly stopped in his tracks by the wicked Namekian.

The World King is forced to witness the destruction of his beloved city firsthand at the hands of Piccolo. Terrified by the incredible power wielded by this new foe, the King reluctantly decides to relinquish the throne.

When Goku arrives to take on Great Demon King Piccolo, the World King is astonished by the young Saiyan's strength.
