The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. This time, we're traversing the dimensions to catch up with Janenba in its pre-transformation state from the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn!
Story
This form of Janenba was created when the Saike Demon working for Lord Enma in the Another World was doused in evil energy.
The scary thing about this Janenba is that it seems so "pure" and simple-minded that you never know what kind of destructive acts it could be capable of!
It projects a special kind of barrier around Lord Enma's office, trapping him inside, and then goes on a chaotic rampage that wreaks havoc on both the Another World and our world too!
Goku takes to the scene with his rival from the finals of the Another World Budokai, Paikuhan, who tries to convince Janenba to release the barrier before being effortlessly flicked away by the monster!
Janenba then uses its mysterious powers to create miniature clones of itself and starts bombarding Goku with the cannon-like holes on its body!
Goku turns Super Saiyan 3 and finally lands a decisive blow on the monster, seemingly defeating him for good...
That is, until an even more powerful version of Janenba emerges from the regenerated body of its previous form!
