Story

Chaoz is a pupil of the Tsuru School along with his fellow disciple Tenshinhan.
Skilled at using psychic powers, Chaoz can frequently be found speaking indifferently with a blank expression on his face.

Chaoz takes part in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai. Once there, he uses his psychic powers to manipulate the battle matchups, ensuring that everything goes according to Tenshinhan's instructions.

Chaoz faces off against Krillin in the third match of the tournament and uses Buku-jutsu (Levitation Technique) to speed around the arena and toy with his opponent.

Chaoz pressures Krillin using his Dodonpa technique, but ultimately takes a mighty counterattack from Krillin's Kamehameha.

Chaoz recovers and uses his psychic powers to give Krillin a nasty stomachache, which turns the tables in his favor!
Just when everything seems lost, Krillin comes up with the idea to challenge Chaoz with some sudden math problems! The Tsuru School fighter gets stumped, which gives Krillin the chance he needs to knock Chaoz out of bounds!

After the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai, the Great Demon King Piccolo emerges to threaten the planet. To save the world, Chaoz goes to gather the Dragon Balls with Kamesennin and Tenshinhan, but just when they are about to get their wish granted, Chaoz is discovered by the Demon King and killed.

Later on, Chaoz is revived using the Dragon Balls after Goku finally defeats Great Demon King Piccolo.

Later still, Chaoz joins the 23rd Tekaichi Budokai and fights Tsurusennin's brother Taopaipai in the preliminaries.
Unfortunately, Chaoz gets overwhelmed and is knocked out by an ultra-powerful attack from his former teacher.

Psychic Powers
By spreading both his arms wide, Chaoz can unleash a psychic attack with a wide range of effects, such as making his opponent's stomach suddenly hurt. It also enables him to manipulate things from a distance, like he did with the battle matchups at the Tenkaichi Budokai.

Chaoz can freely fly through the air by manipulating his Ki.

Trivia

Chaoz's hat hides a solitary strand of hair!

Chaoz makes fun of Krillin by calling him "Octopus" due to his lack of hair. When Krillin fires back with, "You're as bald as I am... Octopus!", Chaoz proudly takes off his hat to show off his single strand of hair.
