Story

Kikono is a brilliant scientist who has served Frieza and his father since the Cold Force's heyday.
He is the inventor of a lot of the Frieza Force's military equipment, including spaceships, combat armor, and even the well-known Scouters.

Frieza tasked Kikono with investigating the tales of the Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan God, but he was unable to find proof of either, eventually concluding that both were indeed mere legends.

Despite this, Frieza's fear of a Saiyan uprising eventually led the tyrant to destroy Planet Vegeta.
Kikono was unsure of the decision, cautioning that eliminating the Saiyans would reduce the number of soldiers in Frieza's army by half.

Years later when Frieza leads Broly to face off against Goku and Vegeta as part of his scheme for revenge, Kikono takes the Dragon Balls gathered by the Frieza Force and retreats to Frieza's spaceship.
However, former Frieza Force member Cheelai tricks Kikono and takes the Dragon Balls, using them for a wish to return Broly to Planetoid Vampa.

He seems perplexed by Frieza's sudden wish!

Kikono got Frieza to tell him what his wish for the Dragon Balls will be, but had to promise not to tell another living soul. However, even the genius Kikono is unable to hide his shock when he learns that Frieza's wish is actually to grow taller...by a whopping five centimeters!
Kikono goes on to ask his master, "Please forgive me... If that's the case, couldn't you simply go back to your second transformation? Wouldn't you be sufficiently tall then?", to which Frieza responds "Don't be a fool! I would like to be taller in my normal form, you ninny! And, of course, my golden one."
Even after hearing all this, Kikono still doesn't quite get it, and the bewildered yellow alien stammers "Why... only five centimeters?"
