The 11th chapter of Dragon Ball Super's SUPER HERO arc is hitting store shelves across Japan in V Jump's Super-Sized December Edition on Friday, October 20!
The terrifying Android Cell Max is unleashed, and the battle intensifies in the exciting SUPER HERO arc. Let's take a look and see what’s happened in the story so far!

Trunks and Goten have been keeping themselves busy as the superheroes Saiyaman X1 and X2 while also continuing their lives as students.
A battle between the Saiyamen and the Androids begins after Trunks gets his hands on a disk while solving a case! The battle then progresses into a direct confrontation between the two young heroes and the Androids' creator himself, Dr. Hedo. The Saiyamen emerged victorious and the doctor is arrested.

After Dr. Hedo is released from prison, he’s contacted by the Red Ribbon Army! He then decides to create brand-new Androids!

Sometime later, Piccolo is suddenly ambushed by a new Android calling himself Gamma 2. Despite the damage he takes, Piccolo is able to survive the attack and tail Gamma 2.
As a result of his pursuit, he learns of the Red Ribbon Army’s dastardly plan and takes steps to stop them himself, including borrowing Shenron’s power to unleash his hidden potential.

While Piccolo is busy running around trying to stop them, the Red Ribbon Army sets their sights on Gohan and attempts to kidnap Pan to lure him to them.
Piccolo then devises a plan to use Pan’s kidnapping to awaken Gohan’s fighting instincts! Piccolo and Pan conspire together to trick Gohan, who has been lured to the Red Ribbon Army's base, into unleashing his true power. With their plan succeeding, the now-awakened Gohan can fight Gamma 1 on equal footing!

Gamma 2 attempts to join forces with Gamma 1 to fight off Gohan, leading to Piccolo entering the fray! Thus begins the intense, back-and-forth battle between the strongest master-student duo and two extremely powerful Androids.
​

During the battle, Piccolo is overwhelmed by Gamma 2 and it looks like he might be out for the count. But just then, the "little extra" Piccolo received from Shenron is activated! He awakens as Orange Piccolo and overpowers Gamma 2!
​

Gamma 2 can now see the Red Ribbon Army for what it really is, an evil organization, due to the actions taken by Magenta and the others after witnessing Orange Piccolo’s strength.
Just as it seemed that the battle was about to reach a peaceful conclusion, Cell Max appears, having been activated by the nearly collapsed Magenta!

Trunks and Goten transform into the heroes of justice, Saiyaman X1 and X2 to face off against the rampaging Cell Max. The duo quickly realizes that Cell Max can’t move very well as he has just been awakened, so they try to use that to their advantage!
​

The Gammas notice something while watching the Saiyaman duo working as a team and toying with Cell Max.
They start to realize that their own fighting style is similar to the two heroes fighting in front of them and put together that Dr. Hedo probably used the duo as a reference while he was creating them.
​

Just as the two young heroes planned to land a big blow on Cell Max, the Gammas join the fight! Each demonstrate their own signature pose and land a perfectly coordinated attack on Cell Max.
​

While the four heroes may have successfully landed their powerful coordinated attack, it has no affect on Cell Max. On the contrary, Cell Max just grows faster and more powerful, and unleashes a powerful counterattack.
Now in a pinch, Trunks and Goten try another trick they have up their sleeves by attempting Fusion, but it fails spectacularly! This turn of events forces Gohan and the others to join the battle.

Even with all these warriors joining forces, their attacks have no affect against the mighty Cell Max.
While Cell Max’s power is making them all look like chumps, the Gammas reveal to the team that his weakness is his head! However, attacking the weakness has a catch: they run the risk of causing a huge explosion! Nevertheless, they all come together and launch a powerful attack!
​

Piccolo, without missing any opportunity to attack during the onslaught, successfully lands a direct hit on his head! However, Cell Max is so strong that it doesn’t manage to cause significant damage. Seemingly enraged by the impact, Cell Max unleashes an indiscriminate attack with a great roar.
​

The warriors see Cell Max unfazed by their half-hearted hits. Knowing they need to hit him with something stronger, they start thinking of a counterattack. Gamma 2 decides that they need to use "a certain method" as a counter offensive against Cell Max. But what on Earth could the method Gamma 2 decided to use be?!
​
