This week we are taking a closer look at Naise, a fighter from the film Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge who has some tricks up his sleeve!
Story
Naise is an elite soldier in Cooler's Armored Squadron, a group of mercenaries that works for Frieza's older brother Cooler.
Although his Power Level is the lowest in the squadron, his skin and bones allow for great elasticity, and he can retract his head into his body like a turtle.
The squadron arrives on Earth under Cooler's orders to find the fighter that defeated Frieza, Goku. In addition, they are determined to eradicate any and all remaining Saiyans.
They execute an ambush on Goku and the others, who are in the middle of a camping trip.
In a display of strength, Naise knocks out Krillin with one punch and deflects Goku's Ki Blast with a simple swipe.
His comrade Doure manages to grab Goku, and while Naise wastes no time in attacking, he ends up kicking Doure by accident.
He nearly takes a clean hit to the face from Goku’s energy blast, but narrowly evades it by retracting his head into his body.
Cooler arrives and joins the attack, but an injured Goku and his allies manage to escape. This leads Naise and the other squadron members to begin destroying the surrounding areas at random to search for the runaway Saiyan.
Gohan bravely ventures out to Karin Tower and returns with Senzu Beans to help Goku recover, but Naise and co. intercept the young half-Saiyan. Just when things seem dire, Piccolo shows up to save his pupil.
Piccolo launches a Ki Blast which Naise evades by once again retracting his head. This ultimately ends in disaster, however, as it is revealed that the blast was intended for Doure all along! The attack connects while the green-skinned goon is chasing Gohan, and Cooler's Armored Squadron soon finds itself down a member...
Naise manages to halt Piccolo's movements with a high-voltage electricity attack and thinks it's safe to approach, but gets defeated when Piccolo manages to reflect the technique on his attacker.
