A special figure exhibition called TAMASHII NATION 2023 by TAMASHII NATIONS was held in Japan over November 17–19, 2023!
The event featured a massive range of spectacular figures, including the debut appearance of awesome new Dragon Ball and SAND LAND figures like "S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Gohan -The Fighter Who Surpassed Goku-"!

Off We Go to Bellesalle Akihabara 1F!

This year's event took place at the event halls at Bellesalle Akihabara (1F and B1F) and at AKIBA SQUARE, which is located on the 2nd floor of the AKIHABARA UDX Building.
The awesome Dragon Ball and SAND LAND goodies were on display on the 1st floor of Bellesalle Akihabara, so off we went to check them out!
Both venues are free of charge to attend, so we highly recommend checking out AKIHABARA UDX as well if you get the chance!

"S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Gohan -The Fighter Who Surpassed Goku-"

Pre-orders for "S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan Gohan -The Fighter Who Surpassed Goku-" kicked off on Tuesday, November 21! It's been a while since Gohan sporting his looks from the final showdown with Cell has graced the S.H.Figuarts series, 14 years in fact!

This incredible Gohan boasts a totally new sculpting, so the level of articulation is off the charts! You can put the young half-Saiyan warrior in wide kicking poses or even blasting poses with his arms straight ahead!

But if we had to choose, the most intriguing thing about this figure might just be the cape! The cape contains wires inside the fabric, so you can pose it to your heart's content. Gohan looks totally badass sporting his battle-hardened expression and Demon Clan garb!

A Diorama Recreating the Epic Battles on Planet Namek!

A diorama recreating our heroes clash with Frieza and his forces was also displayed at the event! Even Zarbon and Dodoria were there to serve their wicked master, and in the back, a massive Porunga figure could also be seen!

"Dragon Ball" Tale 249

Refusing to be outdone by the jumbo-sized figures, S.H.Figuarts Vegeta -Power Level 24,000- and S.H.Figuarts Kyewi also made an appearance! Their battle and the iconic - and brutal - "I've always loved fireworks!" scene was also recreated here in all its glory.

Both Vegeta and Kyewi look like they came straight from the original series!
Witnessing Vegeta's cold-hearted look and Kyewi's distressed expression in physical form was truly a sight to behold!

A Fabulous Collection of Gokus!

The event also featured a stunning lineup of Goku figures, including some that you can't even purchase anymore! Despite all being the same character, each figure still managed to give off its own unique charm and appeal!

S.H.Figuarts Goku -INNOCENT CHALLENGER-, a TAMASHII NATIONS STORE exclusive, was also available to view.
TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO is located near the event venue, and since it’s the TAMASHII NATIONS flagship store, they of course had some special collab events going on as well!

A Wide Array of SAND LAND Figures!

Visitors to the SAND LAND corner were met by a majestic statue of Beelzebub himself!

The exhibit showed off S.H.Figuarts Beelzebub - Game Exclusive Edition -, a special figure that's only available as a bonus with the new SAND LAND video game!

The SAND LAND corner also featured the S.H.Figuarts Beelzebub figure that's currently available for preorder and a sample of S.H.Figuarts Rao & Thief! Seeing how both characters' looks and expressions have been recreated so faithfully just makes us look forward even more to their future release!

We were also amazed at the level of detail used for Chogokin: SAND LAND Royal Army Tank Corps No. 104! Die-cast parts are even used throughout to give it an authentic metallic finish!

The supremely detailed headlights and realistic-looking paintjob just have to be seen in person to be fully appreciated!
