The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. For the 136th installment we are spending some time with Chichi's dear old dad, Gyumao!
Rumored to be extremely frightening, Gyumao, also called the Demon King, is a large and infamous man. Noticing that Goku is riding Kintoun (the youngster got it as a present from Kamesennin), Gyumao asks him to take go with Chichi to ask to borrow the Bashosen.

A few years later, Goku marries Gyumao's daughter, Chichi, and his grandson Gohan is born.
Gyumao has transformed into a casually dressed, kind grandfather, who helps calm the quick-tempered Chichi.
