Bacterian makes it through the qualifying rounds and then faces off against Krillin in round one.
He knocks the young warrior out with a triple threat of bad breath, body odor, and silent but violents!

Once Krillin is down and defenseless, Bacterian delivers kick after kick while the referee counts.
However, just when the count strikes 9 and it looks like Krillin is done and dusted, his friend Goku reminds him that he doesn't even have a nose to smell with, meaning Bacterian's signature stink has no effect on him anymore!

Back on his feet, Krillin runs circles around Bacterian, evading what the announcer calls "loogies that even elephants run from in disgust", and lands a super-powerful kick right in his face!

Just as Bacterian is about to get up, Krillin gives him a taste of his own medicine and farts in his face, to which the noxious giant replies, "M-Mercy..." and forfeits the battle.

The referee couldn't even withstand his stench!

During the match selection process, Bacterian's stench was so strong that the announcer told him, "Y-You can st-stand a little further back, please...".
He even resorted to wearing a gas mask to be able to get through Bacterian and Krillin's fight!
