Story

This is the Bulma that lives in the apocalyptic future, a world that was destroyed by Androids 17 and 18.
After her husband Vegeta and all the other warriors of Earth are killed by the Androids, she supports her son as he continues the fight against the mechanical menaces.

Bulma builds a time machine to change the past because of her firm belief that if Goku hadn't died, he would have been able to defeat the Androids.

She entrusts Trunks with the medicine to cure Goku's illness and sees her son off as he travels to 17 years in the past.

She understood Goku and Vegeta on a deep level!

When Trunks asks about Goku, she replies nostalgically, "He was the kind of guy who made you believe that he could make things right, no matter how terrible the situation seemed..." On the other hand, when Trunks expressed excitement about meeting his father, Bulma warns her son, saying "...Don't get your hopes up too high". These are things that only she, as someone who knows those two so well, could say.
