The SUPER HERO arc that began with a prequel of Trunks and Goten acting as superheroes is finally reaching its climactic conclusion! Let’s take a look back on the story thus far and re-experience the epic clash against the Red Ribbon Army!

The Red Ribbon Army Attacks!

Piccolo, who was spending his days teaching Pan the art of battle, gets attacked by Gamma 2, an android sent by the Red Ribbon Army.
Piccolo evades Gamma 2’s finishing blow and feigns his own demise, and then uses the opportunity it provides him to stealthily follow his mechanical adversary back to his base. Once there, Piccolo learns of the Red Ribbon Army’s return, and of their nefarious plot to attack him and his comrades.
The Namekian quickly makes up his mind to prepare for an upcoming struggle!

While Piccolo puts things into motion, the Red Ribbon Army decides their next target: Gohan! The nefarious villains kidnap Gohan's daughter Pan and use her to lure Gohan to their base. But this too was all part of Piccolo's master plan to awaken the half Saiyan's true power!

Faceoff Against the Android Duo!

Piccolo and Pan’s daring plan works like a charm! Gohan's burst of anger powers him up into his "Ultimate" form, and he has a fierce showdown with the formidable Gamma 1. As the battle rages on, Gamma 2 joins the fray to support his partner, causing Piccolo to come to Gohan's aid! The teacher/student and android/android duos match each other blow for blow in this fierce fight, with no clear winner to be seen.

As the fight winds down, the Gammas realize that the Red Ribbon Army was their true enemy all along! It seemed like everything was heading to a peaceful resolution, but then...

Band Together, Warriors! It's Time to Take On Cell Max!

As his last wicked deed, Magenta awakens Cell Max! The colossal android begins to rampage about attacking everything and everyone in range indiscriminately. Our heroes team up to take on this terrifying new threat, but find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place...
Gamma 2 puts his absolute all into a devastating single strike and manages to take out one of the monster's arms. However, despite losing his left arm defending against the attack, Cell Max rages on unabated.

Piccolo's Desperate Bet! Gohan's All-Or-Nothing Strike

Piccolo determines that their only chance of defeating Cell Max is to have Gohan focus all of his power into a single, focused attack. He shares his plan to pin their hopes on an all-or-nothing strike from Gohan, who has recovered with the help of a Senzu bean, with the other fighters.

To create an opening for his pupil to land his decisive blow, Piccolo confronts Cell Max head on! Even after losing an arm, Piccolo refuses to stay down! He takes hit after hit, all for the sake of buying enough time for Gohan to charge up his energy!

Gohan’s Awakening

Piccolo puts his life on the line to slow down Cell Max, taking a devastating counterattack head on in the process.

Seeing his teacher fall to Cell Max, Gohan lets out a fierce roar. A stupendous power pours forth from Gohan as he transforms!
As the wild, animal-like force begins to stir within him, Gohan awakens into his new “Beast” state!

An Explosive Full-Power Strike!

Piccolo regains consciousness and puts all his remaining strength into binding Cell Max; Gohan takes this chance to fire off an attack at full power!
This attack was none other than Piccolo’s signature move, the Makankosappo (Special Beam Cannon), which he aimed straight at Cell Max’s head!

Cell Max struggles to escape Piccolo’s grasp, but Trunks and Goten come in with the assist! Seeing this precious opportunity, Gohan refuses to let up! He fires his Special Beam Cannon, which makes direct contact with Cell Max's head and...

The Battle Ends...

And thus, the world was saved. But our heroes’ victory was not without its costs. Having used every last bit of his power, Gamma 2’s body disintegrates. Piccolo acknowledges that Gamma 2’s help was essential to winning the battle, stating, “He really was a superhero...”

With the danger past, Pan takes the chance to show off her newly mastered Buku-jutsu (Levitation Technique) to Piccolo.
Now that the android threat has been neutralized and the world is once again at peace, Pan is ready to take the next step in her training, starting tomorrow!

Meanwhile on Beerus's Planet, the fight with all transformations off-limits between Goku and Vegeta reaches a surprising conclusion: Vegeta emerges the victor!
And so, unbeknownst to these two, a threat to Earth has come and gone.
