Story

Cymbal is a dragon-like creature that was created by the Great Demon King Piccolo to gather the Dragon Balls.

On the orders of his demonic creator, Cymbal goes to find the Dragon Balls. There he finds Yajirobe with the One-Star Ball.

Krillin was killed by a similar-looking demon named Tambourine, and so Goku attempts to defeat this new opponent to avenge his friend. However, Yajirobe dismisses the young hero as being a pee-wee and declares "This thing's mine!", so the fighters play a game of rock-paper-scissors to decide who gets to fight.
Yajirobe wins and faces off against Cymbal.

Cymbal's tail swipes and punch have no effect on Yajirobe, and the wild warrior gets in a good kick on the dragon.

Irritated by Yajirobe's kick, the dragon shouts, "Now see the true horror of what you face!!" and suddenly shoots lightning out of his hand! Yajirobe manages to dodge the fearsome electric blasts and decides the match by slicing Cymbal in two with a powerful katana slash.

Cymbal was delicious when roasted?!

Yajirobe roasts the defeated Cymbal over a fire, declaring, "Yum!! This thing's good!!" But Goku, who usually has quite the appetite, is uncharacteristically uninterested and vehemently turns down the exotic dish with a firm "I don't want any."
