The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. This week, we're going back to the very beginning of Dragon Ball to learn more about Goku and Bulma's first foe, Pteranodon!
Story
A winged reptile that lives near Goku's house.
Pteranodon attacks Bulma when she runs off all alone to answer nature's call, leaving Goku waiting on the roadside.

Pteranodon ties up Goku and carries off Bulma, intending to make the young lady its next meal. Goku hops on Bulma's motorcycle and gives chase, then saves the day with a crushing overhead Nyoibo strike that takes the scaly villain down in an instant!

When Goku hears a scream, he goes to check in on his brand-new companion Bulma, but he instead meets this hulking reptile! He even ties up Goku to a nearby tree for good measure!
