Story

During his time on Earth, this hero's feats were literally the stuff of legend!
In the afterlife, however, Olibu spends his days continuing his training on the Planet of the Grand Kaio, in hopes of one day being taught by the Grand Kai himself.

Olibu fights his way through the preliminary rounds of the Another World Budokai, a tournament to determine the number-one martial artist in all of Another World, and makes it into the top 8.
Eventually, he faces off against his fierce fellow finalist, Paikuhan.

The battle between the two warriors features some impressive high-level techniques that even Goku can't follow, such as Olibu's homing energy blasts. However, Olibu is ultimately sent flying out of the ring by a powerful punch from Paikuhan.

His serious yet gentle personality is truly heroic!

After losing to Paikuhan, he starts off with, "I landed out... So I don't need to say it...", but then classily acknowledges his opponent's strength by saying, "But still I want to say... I concede."
