The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. This week, we're taking a look at the being that taught Vegeta and Goku the Instant Teleportation technique, Pybara!

Story

Pybara is the Yardratian elder who taught Goku how to use Instant Teleportation way back in Dragon Ball Z. He is held in high esteem by other Yardratians too, who call him Elder Pybara to show their respect. By using Spirit Control, Pybara can perform a bunch of different techniques, including Instant Teleportation, Gigantification, and the ability to make copies of himself!

When Vegeta comes seeking to learn techniques to use in the battle against Moro, Pybara teaches the Saiyan prince how to use Spirit Control. Through rigorous training to strengthen his spirit power and polishing his spirit, Vegeta unlocks his true power!

However, Moro's henchmen attack Planet Yardrat and interrupt the training session. Vegeta, now stronger than ever, defeats the lackies with ease!
