Story

Pilaf's dream to collect the Dragon Balls and use them to wish for world domination was thwarted by Goku and his allies.
However, this tiny villain doesn't give up on his plan to take over the planet! Later on in the story, Pilaf revives the Great Demon King Piccolo, a terrible menace who had once terrorized the world!

Once revived, Pilaf aids the Demon King using his flying base so the tyrant can collect the Dragon Balls and obtain eternal youth!

Upon rushing to the location where Cymbal and Tambourine (the Demon King's minions) were defeated, Pilaf finds Goku there!
Astonishingly, Piccolo easily defeats Goku, leaving Pilaf scared stiff of the Great Demon King's sheer strength!

After the Great Demon King gets his youth restored by the Dragon Balls, Pilaf finally musters up the courage to ask, "Regarding our previous agreement...J-Just how m-much of the world do you think you would be willing to bequeath us...?". However, the villainous Piccolo simply responds, "BEGONE. I have no more use for you." and throws Pilaf and his crew right off of the Flying Base!

Trivia

The amount of the world Pilaf wants to dominate keeps getting smaller!

Despite having revived the Great Demon King Piccolo, tiny Pilaf is actually terrified of him! In his initial negotiations Pilaf suggests, "W-We were wondering if you would graciously bestow half of the world upon us... heh heh heh...". He quickly walks that back after taking one look at the Great Demon King Piccolo's face, saying "Um...of course, if half is too much... W-W'd be fine with a third. A fourth, even!!"
Later, that gets downgraded even more: "We'd be m-more than happy with a fifth... or even... a tenth...?"
