[Part 2] Report on Dragon Ball DAIMATSURI! Full of Info From Stage Events!
As part of the celebrations for its 40th anniversary, all things Dragon Ball were gathered under one roof at the invitation-only, free admission event Dragon Ball DAIMATSURI, held on Sunday, October 6th at Tokyo Big Sight!
We'll be reporting on all the cool stuff from the event in two parts!
In this second part, we'll be telling you all about the stage events!

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 1 Screening!
The world premiere of episode 1 of Dragon Ball DAIMA was the highlight of Dragon Ball DAIMATSURI!
There were three screenings that fans could attend! The first screening, which was the world premiere, and the second screening both included stage events featuring some special guests!
At the first stage event, the voice actors for Goku and Goku (Mini) (Masako Nozawa), Supreme Kai (Mini) (Yumiko Kobayashi), Glorio (Koki Uchiyama), and Panzy (Fairouz Ai), as well as the executive producer, Akio Iyoku, all made appearances!
Cast members discussed their impressions of their characters, how they felt when they were selected to play their roles, and more!
And that's not all! C&K and AI, the artists responsible for the opening and ending themes, gave a rousing live performance!
Things were switched up at the second screening with a different set of cast members popping in! In addition to the legendary Masako Nozawa, who also appeared at the first screening, the voice actors for Gomah (Showtaro Morikubo), Degesu (Junya Enoki), and Dr. Arinsu (Yoko Hikasa) also took the stage!
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO Stage Event
Victory Jump editors Victory Uchida and Victory Asada made appearances at the special stage event for the brand-new video game DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, alongside producer Furutani!
They tried out the Goku (Mini) playable character for the first time!
The event attendees and players alike were thrilled to see Goku (Mini) using Nyoibo in action!
They took on the Custom Battle mode, too!
On the Tenkaichi Budokai stage, a fierce battle using Great Ape Vegeta unfolded for all to see!
Dragon Ball Super Divers Stage Event
At this exciting Dragon Ball Super Divers event, the first round of cards, including some God Rares, were revealed to the world!
In the live demo, a player with only 1 HP remaining pulled off an incredible play that completely turned the tides of the battle!

In addition to the event on the main stage, there was also a separate stage set up at the Dragon Ball Super Divers booth!
A demo battle was held in the afternoon as part of the events!
What's more, a new member of the hype squad made their debut onstage to help fire everyone up for Dragon Ball Super Divers!

DRAGON BALL SUPER CARD GAME Fusion World Stage Event
There was a ton of exciting new info at the DRAGON BALL SUPER CARD GAME Fusion World event!
The most exciting news was the reveal of some of the cards coming in the ULTRA LIMIT booster packs! Plus, the release date of the upcoming NEW ADVENTURE booster packs was announced! This set is planned to come just in time for the first anniversary in February 2025!
Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle and Dragon Ball Legends Stage Event
There was a ton of new info for mobile game fans at the Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle and Dragon Ball Legends event!
It was announced that characters from Dragon Ball DAIMA will appear in both of these awesome titles!
Dragon Ball Legends players will be able to get "Goku (Mini)" after the first episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA airs in Japan! Be sure to log in and get this character for yourself!
However, we'll all have to wait for more info to come about how Dragon Ball DAIMA characters will appear in Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle!
In the latter half of this awesome event, there was a quiz where fans could win fabulous prizes!
The stage events at Dragon Ball DAIMATSURI were jam-packed with new info about video games, card games, and even included screenings of Dragon Ball DAIMA!
