The Shocking and Emotional Final Chapter: Weekly Shonen Jump 1995 No.25

After the fearsome battle against Majin Buu, what further developments could possibly be awaiting our heroes?

The preview for the next installment teases the start of the Tenkaichi Budokai and that the opening page will be in color!
Seeing the words "Who's really the strongest!!" sure would have made the wait seem unbearable!

After turning the cover page depicting an illustration of the iconic Goku in front of a dragon-themed cover page…you see the incredibly nostalgic scene of Goku and Bulma's first meeting!
Setting eyes on this must have made it fully sink in that the story was truly reaching its conclusion, but that doesn't mean the excitement should die down!
Even now, countless readers are sure to remember how it felt to see this impactful spread.

In the first round of the Tenkaichi Budokai, Pan takes out the previous runner-up, Mo Kekko, in no time, scoring a flawless victory! It just goes to show how strong she's grown!
Next, it's finally time for Goku to step into the ring!
Sensing that Uub is Buu's reincarnation, Goku is extremely curious about the young boy's strength.

Since Uub appears paralyzed from nervousness, Goku starts out by hurling some insults in an attempt to encourage him to fight to the best of his ability.
Since Goku doesn't often talk trash he is forced to use childish insults, but that just manages to exude even more "Goku" charm!

Now that he's been riled up, Uub starts launching a counterattack!
He's fearsome enough to be able to match Goku in battle, demonstrating the overwhelming strength of his spirit!

However, Goku is able to endure the onslaught thanks to his Buku-jutsu (Levitation Technique).
Having never seen such a move before, Uub is visibly gobsmacked.

Having seen firsthand how strong Uub is, Goku offers to teach him how to control his power.
After announcing that they'll be living together for the duration of Uub's training, he hoists the boy onto his shoulders and takes to the sky!

Goku promises that they'll have another match after Uub has gone through some training.
It just goes to show that his desire to fight strong opponents above all else hasn't changed since he was young.
A cheerful and spirited "We'll get even stronger!!" sure makes you excited to see what's in store next for Goku despite this being the end.

The last page shows the full cast of Goku and his friends!
Seeing where everyone is now sure reminds you of all the adventures that got them to this point.
It looks just like a commemorative album, and that heartfelt "Thank you!! And goodbye!!" is sure to have left a lasting impression on readers!
