Jump Festa 2025 was a gargantuan event held at Makuhari Messe from December 21st to 22nd, 2024! While there was a lot to see and do, in this article we'd like to tell you all about the Takara Tomy booth! There, fans got to see prototypes from the TOMICA die-cast miniature car series collab, created to celebrate Dragon Ball's 40th anniversary!
The prototypes were housed in spherical display cases modeled after the Dragon Balls, accompanied by artwork from the series showcasing the vehicles that inspired these awesome items!
For starters, we're introducing Kintoun, the trusty companion that helped Goku on many of his earliest adventures as a child! Speaking of Goku, he's also found his way into the TOMICA lineup, sitting atop the magical cloud and looking rather content. I bet you're already thinking of how you'll imitate the sound the Kintoun makes during flight as you move this figure around!
The iconic motorcycle Bulma used to help kick off her and Goku's thrilling adventure for the Dragon Balls is also coming to TOMICA! Fans have always wished they could own a motorcycle like this for themselves, and even though this version is small, its cool factor is as big as ever!
Fans got a chance to see these fully painted prototypes of these first two figures for themselves! But that's not all! Unpainted models of "Red Ribbon Army's Small Aircraft", "Kamesennin's Van", "Frieza's Pod", and "Gyumao's Vehicle" were also on display!
Pre-orders for the first round in this series will kick off on the official TOMICA site in the near future. Stay tuned for more info!
