Each volume in this collection has a double cover featuring a newly drawn illustration in addition to the original cover art.

The illustrations used for these double covers
were originally drawn for Saikyo Jump's Dragon Ball Super Gallery,
a special monthly Jump comics project in which a total of 42 different artists created unique variants of the Dragon Ball covers!

    • I really hope Amazon Etc. USA will get English Versions of this new Dragon Ball Z 40th anniversary Manga box set. It seems like us in USA etc. Or even all English only speakers and readers do not get the best of what Dragon Ball has to offer in general. The English Crunchyroll DragonBall Z blu ray box set is not good at all, only 16X9 widescreen on all of Crunchyroll DBZ BluRays for the anime show. We desperately need a proper 4X3 anime blu ray version, with no augments, no AI upscale, just the dragon box DVD Japan release in USA on BluRay from crunchyroll, just with English subtitles. Or better yet, a reprint of the 2006 USA DBZ dragonBox DVD box sets 1-7 in 2025. That would be amazing. Also why is there No "Dragon Ball" original series on blu ray or even a reprint DVD box set available for the USA? "Dragon Ball GT" is also not available on USA BluRay box set. Crunchyroll can release these, but only bad 16X9 DBZ blu rays are avalible in 2025, Dragon Ball Super has plenty of great BluRay releases in the USA, but original DB, correct 4x3 DBZ, DBGT are all missing in action on any USA blu rays from crunchyroll. Toei animation, i would hope you would look into your english speaking home media market, we don't care to stream these anime, we care to buy them on physical media such as original Blu Ray or Blu ray 4k in USA.       • Only the hand of akira toriyama or piccolo himself, could clear up these legal issues for all of dragon ball in English speaking and reading countrys. Their is slways hope, the GenkiDama Spirit, we ALL must write to toie animation and tell them there is HIGH demand for DB DBZ re prints if manga box sets and actually good home media blu ray and DVD of the original Dragon Ball and Dragon balll GT, those will probably never see another USA version on blu ray or dvd even dragon ball Z ???? Blu Rays from crunchyroll are horrible, 16:9 widescreen, when each anime is native 4:3 (crunchyroll streached out the image, added a terribly bad AI filter) in the USA etc..
