Goku and the others storm the palace once again to take down Don Kia, who's been living in luxury by charging residents outrageously high taxes and rent. Don Kia intends to fight them using hidden weapons, but Redgic takes the field himself, saying, "You can not topple warriors like these with conventional weaponry."

He easily counters Trunks' surprise attack and uses energy blasts to draw Goku into an aerial battle.

Redgic transforms the horns on his shoulders into swords and launches relentless slashes at Goku, who manages to block the assault. The moment the swords break, he counters with a kick that sends Goku flying.

Next, Redgic creates a spear and forces Goku back, though this weapon is broken by a single blow from Goku after he transforms into a Super Saiyan. Redgic then retaliates by using the weapons in his sleeves to attack Goku once more.

He unleashes a powerful energy blast but is overpowered by Goku's Kamehameha.

Though defeated by Goku, Redgic is promised a rematch once he becomes stronger. Smiling, Redgic replies, "You are an unusual child."
