Liang-Shinron, now in a huff, replies, "Oh, is that so? Well, I’ve been watching you for many years, and frankly, you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into!" However, Pan then slaps him so hard, it sends the dragon flying into a cliff!

In response to this onslaught from Goku's granddaughter, Liang-Shinron inflates his stomach to deflect further attacks from her. This leaves Goku concerned that this dragon might be able to transform to become stronger.

As tension builds, Liang-Shinron, cornered, admits, "Some dragons transform. But not me." He is then beaten to a pulp by Pan. Just as the battle seems to be ending, the Negative Energy inside Liang-Shinron seeps from his body, turning the water in the nearby lake into poison. A poisonous mist envelopes the area surrounding the heroes, greatly weakening them in the process.

Liang-Shinron then uses his special technique to knock Goku and Pan back before dropping them into the now-poisonous lake.

However, Gill finds fresh spring water and restores their power just in time! Now with their strength back, Goku and Pan launch a Kamehameha at the dragon, destroying him!

Trivia

Negative Energy from Bora being brought back to life created Liang-Shinron!

When Upa's father, Bora, was killed by Taopaipai, Goku gathered all the Dragon Balls and brought his friend back to life. The Negative Energy generated by that wish is what created Liang-Shinron.
