The unexpected alliance comprising General Are and his tank squad, the Swimmers, and The Resistance launches a diversionary attack against Garam and its crew, who deploy a fleet of auto-mechs to intercept them.
Under the directives of Are, the mechas' weak point is revealed, allowing Beelzebub, Rao, Thief, and Ann to slip through the chaos of the battlefield in Tank 104. Thanks in part to some unintentional help from a Geji Dragon, they successfully infiltrate Garam's interior, only to be confronted by Bred, now manning a giant mecha-suit. Rao and Thief stay behind to battle Bred, while Beelzebub and Ann head for the central core. Their path is far from clear, however; Muniel awaits them in an attempt to intercept the intruders.
