The worldwide hit game Minecraft released a massive Dragon Ball Z DLC on November 5th! This article will not only share the trailer for the DLC but also take a closer look at the different content it has to offer!

In true Minecraft fashion, the new Dragon Ball DLC transforms Goku and his friends into the game's iconic block form! Every detail, down to hairstyles, uniforms, capes, and even a sword has been faithfully recreated, yet they still maintain their cute appearance, with a touch of humor.
There is a total of 11 playable characters to choose from including Goku, all of whom are fighters known for their iconic battles in Dragon Ball Z!

Battle as Goku in Tournament Mode!

The DLC comes with two modes, the first of which is Tournament mode. Play as Goku and battle the powerful foes from Dragon Ball Z!

This mode has four scenarios that are playable in order.

By clearing these four scenarios, you'll unlock the ability to freely choose your opponents and stages. When defeating the selected opponent, that character will then become playable!

Plus, this DLC has a special in-game display! The classic heart icons that make up your health gauge now take the form of a health bar. There's a fighting meter as well as an ability HUD, making battles feel even more immersive than ever!

Battle With or Against Others Using Your Favorite Character in Multiplayer Mode!

The other mode that the DLC offers is Multiplayer mode, where players are pitted against each other in a battle royal-style clash. Participate in an up to five vs. five team battle and play in whatever style you wish! Use the characters you've unlocked in Tournament mode and enjoy battling with or against friends and CPU opponents!

These Blocky Characters Have Impressive Ultimate Moves!

You can't talk about Dragon Ball Z without mentioning the countless exciting moves used in the series! This DLC also features a ton of different abilities, like the iconic Kamehameha. Be sure to try out each character's unique abilities for yourself!

There's a cooldown after activating each ability, so they can't be used again until a certain amount of time has passed. Plus, by attacking or receiving damage during battle, you'll fill your fighting meter, letting you unleash your powerful ultimate ability once it's maxed out!

Even More Fun Outside of Battles!

Progress through the game and unlock achievements to receive special items inspired by the series as rewards! These include items used by Goku himself, such as the Dragon Radar and Kintoun, as well as more obscure collectibles that even the most devoted of fans will be surprised to see! With a whopping 31 total items waiting to be found in this DLC, be sure to play through the game and collect them all!

A special event will even take place if you manage to gather all seven Dragon Balls! What exactly will happen?! You'll just have to find out for yourself!
