Today marks the day Dragon Ball first appeared in print back in 1984! To commemorate the occasion, the first ever worldwide Dragon Ball character popularity poll DRAGON BALL THE ONE is now open on our special event site!

This is an elimination-style poll, separated into four stages!
As the stages progress, there will be fewer and fewer characters to choose from, but after each stage, there will be a 24-hour poll on X to bring back one of the eliminated characters to compete in the next stage!

The Final Stage to determine the top 21 characters will be held from noon on December 17th to noon on December 24th (JST).
The final rankings are planned to be announced in a special broadcast starting at noon January 24th, 2026 (JST) on the Dragon Ball Official YouTube channel!

Fans Worldwide Can Vote Once Per Day! Out of 212 Characters, Decide Who Deserves the Number-One Spot!

212 characters from Dragon Ball are all in the running for the top spot in this poll! During the voting periods, fans from all over the world are welcome to cast their vote once per day! For more details, be sure to check out the special event site!

In each of the four stages of this elimination-style poll, the characters with the most votes will survive to move on to the next stage.
The 21 characters who make it through the first through third stages will advance to the final stage, where the final rankings will be determined.
We'll also be holding Revival Battles on X after each stage to bring back one of the characters who was not fortunate enough to make the cut! The character that gets the most replies supporting their revival will win the right to come back and join the competition in the following stage!

→The top 80 characters out of 212 will move on to the next stage

→Out of the 132 characters eliminated in the 1st Stage, one will be chosen to come back and move on to the next stage
●2nd Stage: 11/27 12:00 PM - 12/1 11:59 AM (JST)
→The top 40 characters out of 81 will move on to the next stage
●Revival Battle: 12/2 12:00 PM - 12/3 11:59 AM (JST)
→Out of the 41 characters eliminated in the 2nd Stage, one will be chosen to come back and move on to the next stage
●3rd Stage: 12/4 12:00 PM - 12/8 11:59 AM (JST)
→The top 20 characters out of 41 will move on to the next stage
●Revival Battle: 12/9 12:00 PM - 12/10 11:59 AM (JST)
→Out of the 21 characters eliminated in the 3rd Stage, one will be chosen to come back and move on to the next stage
●Final Stage: 12/17 12:00 PM - 12/24 11:59 AM (JST)
→The top 21 rankings will be decided
