In Frieza's presence, Ginyu unveils his part of the Special Fighting Pose he had painstakingly deliberated over for this very day and then proceeds to mercilessly crush the warriors of Earth one by one.

However, when Gohan powers up into a Super Saiyan, he finds himself in a precarious situation.

Though briefly overpowered by an attacking Frieza, Goku and Vegeta arrive in Gohan's time of need.
Ginyu angrily berates the pair, lamenting, "You Saiyans can treat it like a big joke but for me it was years of agony! Out of all the bodies. You trapped me in a frog?" Vegeta coldly retorts, "At least if you had stayed on your lily pad then you wouldn't have to die", and fires a Kidan toward Ginyu at close range, completely obliterating him.

Change
With the mere utterance of the words "change now", an aura emanates from Ginyu, and he is able to switch bodies with whomever he targets.

Trivia

Surviving on Earth was pure agony!

With tears in his eyes, Ginyu recalls the suffering he experienced since arriving on Earth, telling Frieza about being hunted by a snake and being a plaything for Trunks.
