Team Universe 7 breezes through their matches thanks to the efforts of Goku and Vegeta, until Universe 6's team captain Hit appears. After a grueling battle against Hit, Goku deliberately jumps out of the ring, as he is eager to see Monaka's true power. In the tournament finals, Monaka begins trembling with fear and bursts out crying at the sight of the powerhouse Hit.

Yet, with grim determination, Monaka charges at him with his eyes screwed shut and arms flailing, whereupon Hit sells the attack by intentionally flying out of the ring in dramatic fashion. Team Universe 7 emerges victorious, thanks to Monaka's valiant efforts.

Monaka means "The Magnificent Ponta"!

"Ponta" translates as "nipple" on Earth. It appears Monaka got his name due to his ample pontas.
