However, as Trunks had sliced Frieza to death, the fearsome foe could only be brought back in pieces.

Sorbet collects these pieces, stores them in a cryo-preservation device, and brings them back to the spaceship. He is then able to use the latest regeneration machine to completely revive Frieza.

Later, Sorbet once again returns to Earth with the Frieza Force alongside Frieza, who has trained to defeat his nemesis, Goku. As Earth's warriors come out to face him, Sorbet commands, "Soldiers! Give them everything you got!"

A shocked Sorbet looks on as his soldiers are taken out one by one. He is left utterly baffled when his aide Sisami is taken out by Super Saiyan Gohan, crying out, "No. It's not fair! Not Sisami, too!"

Sorbet watches Frieza and Goku's one-on-one battle from behind a rock, but when Frieza is cornered, he jumps in to fire a beam from the ring on his finger, striking the Saiyan on the left side of his chest. This was the contingency plan that Frieza had instructed him to follow beforehand.

Although Frieza praises his "exemplary marksmanship," the energy blast Frieza fires at Vegeta is deflected, catching Sorbet in the crossfire.
