After awakening this card, when you have 3 or more energy in Rest Mode and you play a card with 20000 to 30000 power and "Evolve", switch 2 of your energy to Active Mode! True to the name THE PHASE OF EVOLUTION, this Leader card's skills work perfectly with cards that have "Evolve" to give you a fighting advantage!

This starter deck includes tons of powerful cards themed around the "Evolve" skill! Harness the power of the Saiyans' evolution for yourself and seize victory!

"Son Goku" [FS12-01]

This Leader card is made to take advantage of the new "Ki" mechanic, in which you place energy markers under your card! If your life is at 4 or less or if this card has 2 or more "Ki", this card gets +1 "Ki". Then, you can flip this card over and awaken it! After awakening, remove 1 or more of your "Ki" once per turn, then for each "Ki" removed by this skill, play up to 1 Battle Card with "Planet Namek" in its special traits from your Drop in a combo!

THE BEAT OF KI is full of cards featuring warriors who fought bravely on Planet Namek and that revolve around boosting "Ki" to do battle! Use your "Ki" strategically to make short work of your opponents!
