As other universes are obliterated one after another, Goku and Vegeta team up to take on Jiren, who has advanced to the next round. When Belmod quotes Jiren's master, Gicchin, by lamenting, "He'll never know when things'll go bad and he'll have to rely on others", Marcarita alludes to their hidden past by pointing out, "and yet, you two were friends."
