Story

The Kanassans are a race that resides on Planet Kanassa, known for their fishlike appearance.

Under Frieza's orders, Bardock and his other fellow force members attack Planet Kanassa. Despite the Kanassans' united defense of their home planet, they are annihilated by the onslaught of the Great Ape Transformations.

While Planet Kanassa itself is considered to be of little value, rumors spoke of an energy capable of granting mysterious powers. It seems Frieza's reason for wanting to conquer Planet Kanassa was to acquire that very power.

In fact, the ability to see the future was forced upon Bardock after being hit by an attack from the last remaining Kanassan, Toolo.
