The younger of the two brothers, Rounder, then rushes over to aid his downed sibling and cries out, "Daddy!", which causes their father to appear. Flat Head grumbles that, "Those two guys were picking on me!" Sensing danger, Vegeta attempts to strike first, only to have all his energy blasts absorbed by the father worm.

With the father worm closing in, it appears all is lost for the two Saiyans. However, the father worm then chews out his two sons, snapping, "No one likes little smart alecks!" and, "How many times have I told you never to leave the pack?"

Although the Saiyan pair believed the worms to be villainous monsters, it turns out the Worm Family is actually quite friendly. When Goku asks them about the whereabouts of Gohan and the others, the worms helpfully point the two in the right direction. However, the worm family is then swept away into the unknown by Majin Buu's potty time.
