Here we have an invaluable draft depicting Toriyama's very first drawing of Gogeta. It was included in a special booklet that came with the DVD box set for Dragon Box The Movies. In a hand-written message alongside the illustration, Toriyama reflects: "There were already so many powerful characters in the manga that I was starting to run out of ideas... I felt my blood pressure going up while thinking up a design for yet another, more powerful character."
