As Great Demon King Piccolo dives from the sky to deliver the coup de grace, Goku unleashes a Kamehameha towards the ground, propelling himself forward with tremendous force into the sky. Goku channels what remains of his strength into his right arm, blowing a hole straight through Great Demon King Piccolo.

Right before his untimely end, the Great Demon King Piccolo spits out an egg and entrusts his final wishes to his spawn. After hatching, that Piccolo later takes on the name Piccolo Jr. and enters the Tenkaichi Budokai with the intent of defeating Goku.
