The super-popular "Dragon Ball Super" comic serialization in V Jump catapults into the new "Granolah The Survivor Arc"!
Before Goku and his friends face off against Granolah, who holds the key to this story, let's take a look back at the "Granolah The Survivor Arc" up until now.

The lone Cerealian survivor.
Hunts bounties for the Heeters.

Heeters

A group of 4 siblings led by the eldest brother, Elec.
They use money and information do their business in the shadows of the universe.

A few months after Goku took down Moro and restored peace to the universe, Granolah infiltrates the spaceship of the villainous Goichi and his crew.

After pulling off some smooth moves, he effortlessly makes off with Seven-Three (OG73-i).

To get his hands on the bounty out for Seven-Three and the valuable information that he holds, Granolah heads off to meet the Heeters at their base.
During this meeting, he learns from Elec that Frieza has been resurrected.
Granolah is determined to get revenge on Frieza and the Saiyans who ravaged his home planet, Planet Cereal, and left him as the sole survivor.

Granolah lives quietly in the mountains together with the Namekian Monaito on Planet Cereal, which is now inhabited by the Sugarians.
Seeking more power in order to enact his revenge on Frieza, Granolah was drawn in by the allure of using Monaito’s Dragon Ball.
After all, there are only two Dragon Balls to collect on Planet Cereal.
Then one day, news arrives that the second Dragon Ball has been found.

Granolah steals the Dragon Ball from the Sugarians and summons the divine dragon of Planet Cereal.
His wish: "Turn me into the greatest warrior in the universe!"

Having become the strongest in the universe after agreeing to a certain condition, Granolah seeks out Elec in order to ascertain Frieza's location.
With strength far surpassing that of his past self, Granolah makes quick work of Oil and Macki.

Elec, who was hoping to take control of Frieza's army, is alarmed by Granolah’s sudden increase in strength.
He plots to use the Saiyans Goku and Vegeta to take down Granolah, and it is revealed that he used the data he gained from Seven-Three to track down Zuno’s location and get information on Goku, Vegeta, and the Dragon Balls!

During this time, Goku was polishing his Ultra Instinct abilities with Whis, while Vegeta was attempting to master the Destruction technique with Lord Beerus.

Macki uses Chichi and Bulma to summon Goku and Vegeta to Earth and asks for their help in protecting Planet Cereal from the "strongest in the universe," and then offers to escort the two Saiyans to Planet Cereal, where Granolah would be waiting.

Meanwhile, Granolah is fired up and ready to get his revenge, fully believing Macki's lie that "two of Frieza's assassins are making for Cereal."

Granolah, the strongest fighter in the universe, will soon face off against the newly powered-up Goku and Vegeta!
