The World Travelogue series is where we shine the spotlight on some of the most memorable locations in the world of Dragon Ball. This time, we'll be looking at the familial home of our beloved protagonist, Goku, along with its surrounding area.

This is the house where Goku and his family live, built on the bank of a creek. Though it is located in a small village in 439 East District, it is slightly separated from the heart of the village with no other houses nearby. As a result, it seems to be a good spot for training, which Gohan and Goten took full advantage of by doing some sparring together in the mountains behind the house in preparation for the Tenkaichi Budokai. Gohan's school, Orange Star High School, is about 1,000 km away from the house, but by using Buku-jutsu (the Levitation Technique) and the Kintoun, he makes light work of the distance, arriving to school in just 20 minutes.

〇Goku
Goku lives here, although it seems like he's away more often than not with his hectic schedule of training and fighting bad guys! He spent some time resting up here after contracting the heart virus, but he soon had to relocate as he was being hunted by the Androids.

〇Chichi
Chichi is Goku's wife and the mother of their two sons, Gohan and Goten. She looks after the house in all aspects, from finances to cooking, in many cases by herself due to her husband's frequent and prolonged absences.

〇Gohan
Despite all his time spent training and fighting, Goku's son, Gohan, never gave up on his dream of becoming an academic, and can often be seen at his desk studying hard in between participating in epic battles.

〇Goten
Goten is Goku's second-born son, but he wasn't able to meet his father during his earlier years due to Goku still being in the afterlife. As a result, Goten learned martial arts from his brother, Gohan, in preparation for the Tenkaichi Budokai.

Surrounding Area

〇Grandpa Gohan's House (East of Goku's House)
This is the house where Grandpa Gohan, the man who raised Goku, lived. It was a humble home built in a remote area and had only one room with just a bed and a dresser.

〇Village Terrorized by Oolong (North of Goku's House)
This is the village that Oolong terrorized in his transformed states. It seems to be a well-maintained village with all its buildings sharing the same dome-shaped architecture, house numbers above each doorway, and sturdy roads made of brick.

〇Satan City (North of Goku's House)
Satan City was named after Mr. Satan, the man who is believed to have saved the world. Gohan's school, Orange Star High School, is also located here.

And there you have it! Goku's house may be a little far from civilization, but that also makes it the perfect spot for training. And anyway, since Goku can use Teleportation and Gohan and Goten can both use the Levitation Technique and the Kintoun, it seems that the poor access isn't really a big deal!
