The World Travelogue series is where we shine the spotlight on some of the most memorable locations in the world of Dragon Ball. This time we'll be taking a look at the Pirate Cave, which lies in the eastern seas and is said to house hidden treasures!

Goku, Bulma, and Krillin came upon this underwater cave while tracking down a Dragon Ball. It was full of traps to ward off intruders as it was once used by pirates who raided the surrounding areas. At the back of the cave was a large indoor harbor where a huge submarine was moored, along with a battle robot keeping guard. It's hard to believe a place with so many modern features is actually an underwater cave! However, it became run-down over time and eventually collapsed due to the impact of the battle between Goku's group and the Red Ribbon Army.

Goku arrived here on his quest to find one of the Dragon Balls and ended up fighting the pirate battle robot, a giant octopus, and General Blue.

〇Bulma
Bulma used her time off to help Goku find the Dragon Balls. She used her Dragon Radar to find one located here, deep in the ocean.

〇Krillin
Krillin decided to tag along after Goku and Bulma showed up at the Kame House to borrow a submarine because he thought it sounded like fun.

〇General Blue
General Blue pursued Goku into this cave. With his excellent judgement and quick decision-making, fighting skills on par with Krillin's, plus his supernatural ability to freeze his opponents in place, General Blue quickly overwhelmed Goku and his friends. However, he got scared by a small mouse, and Goku took that opportunity to seize the upper hand.

And there you have it! By the way, the huge diamonds that Bulma found here were worth tens of billions of Zeni! Unfortunately, she was only able to bring home one, so the rest are probably still lying on the ocean floor... Anyone want to go for a dive?
