In the recently released poster for the highly anticipated film, Piccolo can be seen striking his trademark Makankosappo (Special Beam Cannon) pose! Seeing him lined up alongside our other heroes, you can really feel the presence of his overwhelming stature—check out how he dwarfs the puny Saiyans! Plus, his nails are now jet-black just like they were in Toriyama's original color illustrations. The attention to detail is off the charts with this rendition of Piccolo—we love how they've added dynamicism to his artwork here and there, such as with the slight gap between his uniform and shoulder that highlights the motion of his arm. Isn't he just the coolest?!

But we'd be amiss not to also bring your attention to Piccolo's loyal student, Gohan, who's dressed in a similar uniform to his master. In the teaser trailer revealed on the Super Stage, Gohan can even be seen heading into battle wearing a cape!

A movie-version Piccolo figure has already been confirmed for release in the S.H.Figuarts series! The infinitely posable figure comes with three interchangeable face parts: one with a smirk, one where he's gritting his teeth, and one where he's letting out a fearsome battle roar! We couldn't decide on just one image to show you, so check out a whole bunch!

The "S.H.Figuarts Piccolo -The Proud Namekian-" figure released in 2020 took inspiration from the anime, rendering the colored parts of his arms in pink and wrapping his waist with a blue belt. There's also a noticeable difference in the design of the shoes between the two versions.
We here at the Namek branch love both figures, and we'd love for everyone to enjoy displaying them alongside one another!

The new Piccolo figure goes on sale in April 2022 alongside figures for Ultimate Gohan, Vegeta, and Goku, but all of them are available for preorder now! Collecting them all and recreating the image from the poster is at the top of our to-do-list!
