The source of Granolah's bounty work is the Heeters—an underworld group led by a man named Elec who do their business in the shadows of the universe, employing mercenaries and assassins to do their bidding.

Elec's younger brother Gas, also a member of the Heeters, is a skilled warrior with great confidence in his own abilities who is able to effortlessly keep Granolah in check when necessary.

One day, Granolah is shocked to learn from Elec that Frieza has been resurrected. Seeing an opportunity to exact his revenge at long last, Granolah gathers Planet Cereal's Dragon Balls and has his wish granted to become the strongest warrior in the universe!

Seeing Granolah's newfound strength as a potential obstacle in the way of his ambitions to gain control of the Frieza Force and use them to conquer the universe, Elect plots to have him eliminated.
Goku and Vegeta also come up on Elec's radar as a threat to his plans due to their victory over Moro, and he is struck by the ingenious idea to trick them into fighting Granolah. If the three of them manage to destroy each other, Elec will be rid of all obstructions in one fell swoop!

The cogs of his devious plot begin to turn, and a fierce battle between the three breaks out on Planet Cereal!
The Saiyan duo are initially overwhelmed by Granolah's immense strength, but after Goku draws upon his increased mastery of Ultra Instinct that he gained through training with Whis, he's able to hold his own and even push back against Granolah! A new power also awakens within Vegeta thanks to his training with Beerus and his unbridled clash against Granolah, allowing him to transform into Ultra Ego!

The battle rages on, and just as Granolah is about to fire a devastating, all-out attack against Vegeta, Monaito rushes onto the battlefield and stops him, deciding to finally reveal the truth about the Frieza Force's invasion of Planet Cereal 40 years ago.
While it was indeed the Frieza Force who attacked the planet, the whole tragedy only came to pass because of a deal struck between Frieza and the Heeters! And in the most shocking revelation of all, Monaito tells Granolah that his mother wasn't killed by a Saiyan invader but by Elec himself!
