How many times in Dragon Ball have you seen a character fly full-speed at their opponent before opening up a devastating combo? In Dragon Ball FighterZ ("FighterZ" from here on out), players can pull off this kind of brazen charge with the Super Dash move!

3v3 Battles That Put Your Party-Making Skills to the Test!

Aside from the players' skills in battle, party formation is another aspect of FighterZ that can make the difference between victory and defeat.
Battles are conducted between teams of three fighters each, and while one character is battling it out on-screen, the other two are able to provide various kinds of support with their assist attacks!

But assisting isn't all they can do—all three characters are able to be tagged in and out for their time in the spotlight! Since you want to have access to both sidelined characters' assist attacks at all times, another key component of FighterZ's gameplay is rotating between your characters to spread damage around and avoid any one character being KO'ed.
Even if all three characters only have a sliver of health left, that's enough to keep them in the game so that you have all your offensive and defensive options available.
Another great thing about the 3v3 system is that the party you make is completely up to you, so you're free to come up with your own personal dream team that could never be realized in the original manga or anime!

Battles in FighterZ are exciting to watch to begin with, but throw in extra characters teaming up, swapping in and out, and cutting in with their support attacks, and you've got a whole new level of Dragon Ball hype!

Ultra-Flashy Super Attack & Meteor Attack Animations!

Another thing that makes FighterZ such a blast to watch is being blown away by the incredible special move animations in 2.5D!

Among the diverse techniques the various characters show off in the game, there are some extra special ones that cost a portion of your Ki Gauge to use called Super Attacks and Meteor Attacks. These are moves that any fan of the series would instantly recognize, including classics like Kaioken and Galick Gun, and you do not want to miss seeing them in FighterZ's gorgeous animation style! Be sure to keep an eye on players' Ki Gauges so that you know when you're about to see something big go down!

Vegeta's Big Bang Attack, for example, is a Super Attack that costs one Ki Gauge to use.
If he's got three Ki Gauges charged up, however, he'll be able to unleash his Meteor Attack, Final Flash!
