The entertainment event of every fan's dreams, Jump Victory Carnival 2023 was held by Weekly Shonen Jump, V Jump, and Saikyo Jump at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan.
This event was jam-packed with fun stuff, including attractions, brand-new merch, a SAND LAND stage event, and more! As this was an invitation-only event, I wrote this report for Dragon Ball fans who were unable to attend so they wouldn't miss out on all the excitement!
This photograph shows the Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO arc photo spot! We were able to take a souvenir photo with Pan and a ginormous Cell Max, who was looming in the background.
Meanwhile at the Jump Carnival Studio they were holding an event where you could get an autograph from the creators of some of Saikyo Jump's hit manga series! Even Yoshitaka Nagayama, the artist for Saikyo Jump's Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultra God Mission!!!!, had an autograph session!
The Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultra God Stage 2023 event was held on the Jump Victory stage. With "Dragon Soul" (Ultra God Mission's theme song) pumping in the background, advertising producer Kopei battled head-to-head with Victory Asada in a one-of-a-kind match. The crowd went wild!
And that's not all! Information about the 13th anniversary event and the Illustration Tenkaichi Budokai was also announced.

Plus, the Super Dragon Ball Heroes Ultra God Mission Championship 2023 Eastern Japan Finals were held on the Bandai Booth's stage. The winner will represent Eastern Japan in the Championships! Also, the winner of the Western Japan Finals held on July 29th at the Jump Victory Carnival 2023 in Osaka will represent western Japan!
In addition, I got to try the "Dragon Ball Super & SAND LAND: Find your way to Kame House and Mystic Spring!" attraction at Jump Excite Land! This awesome event really gives you the chance to experience riding Kintoun like Goku and riding in an exotic desert car like Beelzebub!
I also had the opportunity to see S.H.Figuarts Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku Kaio-ken near the new attractions. Seeing the figure with my own two eyes really made me appreciate the high-quality painting used to express the brilliance of the Kaio-Ken form!

A life-size statue of Goku welcomed visitors at the entrance to the Toei Animation Booth.
Goku and Vegeta were inside the booth! It was cool that you could ask them to make poses together. Even though Vegeta was a bit aloof at first, the Saiyan prince still responded to our request, and we were able to see this awesome pose!
I also got to try the training method of choice on Beerus' home planet, "Iwakuzushi", or rock busting. Check out the pictures to see how I, an average earthling that often skips out on their own training, did in this thrilling challenge!
There were giant gasha machines for the mobile game sensation Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle at the Bandai Namco Entertainment Booth. Prizes included folders, shoulder bags, and 150 different kinds of stickers! It was quite a sight to behold!
At the Bandai Booth, there were all sorts of new products lined up, including new capsule and snack toys and even the Super Dragon Ball Heroes Official 4-Pocket Binder Set: Majin Buu Edition (on sale August 5th)!
Something else that drew my eye was the display for GIRABBITI COASTER Dragon Ball Super Vol.1 (on sale August 12th). This new series features "Glimmeraphics", Bandai's own original SD illustration style, and are super shiny, sparkly coasters that you can play with!
I also got to experience tons of SAND LAND movie-themed exhibits and stage events! This new feature film will be released in Japan on Friday, August 18th.
Beelzebub's voice actor, Matsumi Tamura, made an appearance at the SAND LAND special stage! Also, V Jump Editor Victory Uchida and Swimmers Igeta, advertising lead for the SAND LAND game, attended to host a quiz and rock-paper-scissors contest.
We even got to take a look at the upcoming SAND LAND game! The venue was filled with excitement as we experienced some of the action scenes and over-the-top mecha gameplay.
When I was taking my souvenir photo at the SAND LAND photo spot, Beelzebub appeared! Even though he's known for being a bit of a demon bad-boy, he was quite charming in person and even agreed to pose for some photos!
Also, "S.H.Figuarts Beelzebub" was both announced and exhibited for the first time ever at this event! In a similar fashion, "S.H.Figuarts Rao & Thief" and "SAND LAND - Chogokin - Royal Army Tank Corps No. 104 " will debut in an exhibit at the upcoming Osaka event. This will be first chance to check out the S.H.Figuarts figures of Rao & Thief in Japan, so you definitely won't want to miss it! And stay tuned for the release date and additional info!
The Osaka event will be held on Saturday, July 29th. I hope everyone who goes has a blast!
