The world-famous pop culture extravaganza New York Comic Con is back! New York Comic Con 2023 was held in New York City from October 12th to 15th (local time). Victory Uchida came to the excitement-packed venue where a ton of awesome stuff was available for fans to enjoy, including the announcement of the brand-new Dragon Ball DAIMA anime series and a showcase of a ton of new Dragon Ball items! In these two report installments, we'll give you the lowdown on all the fun!

In Part 1, we'll go over the Dragon Ball Special booth and Toei Animation Booth, both of which were watched over by their massive, unmissable balloons!

Beast Gohan and Gamma 1 & 2 statues were also present! What's more, con-goers received special Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO Comic Con bags and a Beast Gohan headband! Walking around the convention wearing them really brought out the thrill of attending an event in person.

There were even some hands-on photo spots! You could take hold of a Genki-dama and push the button to gather energy and light it up. I could feel the spirit of all Dragon Ball fans at the event gathered inside!

In addition to the Comic Con bags, guests also received a trial deck for the upcoming "DRAGON BALL SUPER CARD GAME FUSION WORLD" game! Victory Uchida used his to take part in the trial tournament at the Dragon Ball Special Booth!

The deck centers around Leader Cards which you can awaken to unleash amazing power! The tables can turn at any minute, so it's really a trading card game that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Even Victory Uchida found himself grinning during some heated battles.

You could also build a Figure-rise Standard Goku plastic model. You can really see the sense of accomplishment when everyone managed to complete it!
