New "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Update Info! The "World Championship" Global FighterZ Tournament Is Coming!

New update info for the fighting game "Dragon Ball FighterZ" is here! There's also details on an upcoming tournament that will bring together fighters from across the globe, the World Championship!

The update includes character balance changes, changes to the battle system, and more.
Read on for a rundown on some of the main changes!

Super Attack into Z-Change


This update will make it possible to go from a Super Attack into a Z-Change, expanding your combo and strategy options! Z-Changes performed in this way will have different properties depending on whether the enemy is being damaged or not.

Aerial Guard Cancel Change


Guard cancel changes will be able to be performed in the air! This will give you more aerial options and shake up the flow of battles as they have been up until now.

Guard Cancel Vanish


At the cost of two Ki Gauges, you'll be able to use a Vanish while guarding! Also note that Vanishes will have invincibility at the start of the move if your opponent is already mid-Vanish.


And finally, the World Championship has been announced! It's set to be an all-out Dragon Ball FighterZ extravaganza into which fighters from all around the globe can enter and duke it out!

If you think you've got what it takes, first you'll have to earn points from the community-hosted "Tenkaichi Online Challenge" tournaments that'll be held in each region!
Players with the best Tenkaichi Online Challenge records will be able to fight in their respective "Regional Finals" in Japan, North America, or Europe, where many fierce opponents will be waiting!
Only the strongest warriors who are able to rise through the Regional Finals will be able to proceed to the next and greatest challenge: the World Championship!

*Info on regions where the "Tenkaichi Online Challenge" and "Regional Finals" will be held and more will be released at a later date.
