Today we'll be taking a look at the genius scientist with impeccable taste, Bulma! She's a city girl born and raised in West City, but she has an active side too that comes out on her adventures with Goku. Let's jump right in...to her wardrobe!

Capsule Corporation might be famous for their Hoipoi Capsules and sweet rides, but did you know that they also have a popular fashion brand as well? Being the daughter of Capsule Corporation's founder, Bulma is often seen repping their products. From functional and versatile clothes like t-shirts and jackets to more stylish sleeveless dresses and rain boots, she wears it all!

By the way, have you ever noticed that Bulma tends to wear a lot of clothes with her own name on them? Despite claiming not to like her name, she sure seems to enjoy it from a design perspective!

Stylish Fashion

Now, it's only natural that a young woman such as Bulma, whose family company has its own fashion brand, would be particular about what they wear. Let's take a look at some of her most stylish pieces! First up is this outfit from when the 28-year-old Bulma paid the Kame House a visit for the first time in many years. By pairing a casual tube top, shorts, and sneakers with a jacket, she pulls off a more mature and formal aesthetic. Not only that, but the larger silhouette of her top half contrasts with her lower half to make her legs appear long and slender.

Next up is an outfit she wore sometime after Trunks was born. Her ultra-short jacket and exposed midriff draws the eyes upwards, making her legs appear even longer. Her ankles are exposed beneath her three-quarter length cropped pants, naturally removing some volume from her lower half. This look really shows off her great sense of style, don't you think? By the way, Bulma has a habit of changing up her hairstyle, but she really started to favor shorter styles once Trunks was born. Despite the short length, she always manages to change up the style, demonstrating just how much care she puts into her appearance.

Adventuring Attire

Here we have Bulma in her trademark overalls! This functional style is perfect for adventuring. She even tucks the bottom of her pants into her boots to protect against splashing mud. Bulma brought clothes like this along on her adventures, where she tended to spend a lot of time travelling on her motorcycle.

Bulma and co.'s journey to find the Dragon Balls took them to some dangerous places. When they headed to Planet Namek, her Capsule Corporation spacesuit was the perfect outfit for the occasion. In the spaceship and on Planet Namek, Bulma sported long sleeves with a thick vest, which was the perfect ensemble to counter whatever environment awaited them in this uncharted territory, be it scorching heat or blistering cold. Her feet were also well protected by the boots she wore.

Bonus: Bulma's Design Aesthetic

As you can see from the various cute and cool outfits that have been showcased thus far, Bulma has a great sense of style. However, that didn't stop literally everyone—Trunks, Krillin, Piccolo, and even Goku—from ripping on her for her original Great Saiyaman outfit creation. She may be a genius inventor, but perhaps she shouldn't add fashion designer to her resume just yet!
