The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. This time, we're taking a look at a character who debuted in the TV special "Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku", Selipa!

This tough female Saiyan is a member of the task force led by Goku's father, Bardock, along with her fellow comrades, Toma, Toteppo, and Pumbukin. Under the orders of Lord Frieza, they are dispatched around the universe to conquer planets in his name.
An example of their exploits includes their mission on Planet Kanassa, where they used their powerful Great Ape forms to eliminate all resistance to the Emperor's rule.
On what turns out to be their final mission, Team Bardock are sent to Planet Meat only to be betrayed by Dodoria, another member of the Frieza Force, culminating in the tragic death of Selipa and all of her Team Bardock squadmates except Bardock himself.
