The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. Joining us this week is none other than the Dragon Ball Z TV anime sensation Paikuhan!

Paikuhan is the West Galaxy's greatest martial artist and lives in the Another World afterlife.
His unquestionable might allowed him to obliterate both Cell and Frieza, who were running amock in Hell, without breaking a sweat.
Goku once described him as a deadly serious, stoic warrior—even likening him to Piccolo!
In the first round of the Another World Budokai, a martial arts competition held to determine Another World's strongest fighter, he prevailed against Olibu, a hot favorite to win the entire tournament!
He then followed up one stunning victory with another, as he brutally immobilized Torbie in the blink of an eye in the semi-finals.
His opponent in the grand final was the one-and-only Goku. The two warriors seemed evenly matched, until Paikuhan revealed he'd actually been handicapping himself with a weighted uniform!
Upon shedding his uniform, he began to display his true unprecedented fighting prowess! With his ultimate technique, Thunder Flash, he looked to have Goku on the ropes, but as he used it for a third time, Goku managed to find an opening in his blind spot to strike. A savage close-range Kamehameha sent Paikuhan hurtling out of bounds, ending his magnificent run at the tournament.

Did you know that Paikuhan has fought with Majin Buu?!
When Majin Buu arrived on the Planet of the Grand Kaio, Paikuhan mistook him for a newcomer who'd come to train. He was kind enough to approach the lonesome pink monster, but his kindness was rewarded with a horrific screech that sent him flying!
