Now a little older and maybe a touch wiser than when we last covered Goku, he's grown more capable in the use of his Kamehameha and Zanzo-Ken, but he's also picked up some new tricks—including one or two of Tenshinhan's techniques!

Zanzo-Ken (Afterimage)

Goku managed to power up his Sanji Zanzo-Ken (Triple Afterimage) with even more super high-speed movements, creating seemingly endless illusions in his fight against Tenshinhan.

First Appearance: Tale 132 (22nd Tenkaichi Budokai VS Tenshinhan)

Goku learned how to alter the trajectory of his Kamehameha with this technique! He used it to great effect against Great Demon King Piccolo by bending a Kamehameha around his back to bypass the Demon King's incredible defenses that rendered any normal Kamehameha ineffective.

Taiyo-Ken (Solar Flare)

The Taiyo-Ken is a technique initially used by Tenshinhan that allows users to unleash a brilliant flash of light to blind their foes. Goku was able to use it to stun all four of Tenshinhan's clones created with his Shishin-no-Ken (Four Bodies Technique) at the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai.

Kamehameha: Super Kamehameha

As the name suggests, this is a souped-up version of the Kamehameha! It's so powerful that Goku was able to use it to deflect an attack from Piccolo that was set to annihilate the whole tournament arena.

First Appearance: Tale 185 (23rd Tenkaichi Budokai VS Piccolo)

Kamehameha: Foot Kamehameha

By somehow firing a Kamehameha from his bare feet, Goku was able to use the attack as a form of propulsion to land a devastating tackle on Piccolo! Plus, by using his feet to launch the Kamehameha, Goku was able to keep both hands free to use for attacks! It's certainly a unique move that only someone with Goku's free-form quick thinking could perform.

Buku-jutsu (Levitation Technique)

When Goku had sustained so much damage that his arms and legs had been rendered immobile, he used this technique to evade Piccolo's attack and crash himself into the Namekian to knock him out.
