The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. This time, we're gazing through our crystal ball at Uranai Baba from the Red Ribbon Army Arc!

Uranai Baba is Kamesennin's fortune-telling sister who has the ability to divine the location of whatever object you seek and can even peer into your future... If you have deep enough pockets, that is! A reading from the avaricious Uranai Baba will cost you something to the tune of 10,000,000 Zeni!

Uranai Baba can also move freely between Earth and Another World, which is where she scouts out the powerful martial artists she pays a premium rate to fight for her.
One such martial-arts mercenary was none other than Goku's adoptive parent, the late Grandpa Gohan, who Goku ended up fighting against in the fifth round of Uranai Baba's challenge when he and the others came to her to acquire the location of a Dragon Ball.
