The Weekly ☆ Character Showcase is an article series where we introduce one character from the Dragon Ball universe each week. This week we're looking at an original character from the hit movie "Dragon Ball Super: Broly", Lemo!

Lemo is an old solider who has been around since the days of Frieza's father, King Cold, serving in the rear guard rather than as a combatant.

While on a mission to find powerful warriors to help rebuild the newly reformed Frieza Force, he discovered Paragus and his son Broly on Planetoid Vampa and took them to the Frieza Force.

After committing this act of insubordination, the two then fled to join Broly and spend their days together.

He's a very compassionate person!

As he got to know Broly and learn about his harsh upbringing, he was struck by just how pure and kind-hearted the hulking Saiyan is. After Broly relayed the tale of his friend Ba, Lemo remarked it was “...the most innocent story I’ve heard around here in a long time.”
